The Brady Wall Switch Lockout uses existing plate screws. Thw wall switch lockout is made of a clear polycarbonate with a non-hinge desing. Padlock is sold separately.

Solid lock out

Bought 2 of these to lock out a wall switch that often was accidentally turned off. It had caused a power surge and fried a computer when repeatedly turned back on. It was super easy to install. It fits over the 2 switch plate screws. The clear looks sharp, maybe more professional than the bright red for non-industrial applications. We saved money because we didn't have to call an electrician to rewire the switch and lock out gives access to switch if we need it in the future. It was a win-win. It covers the switch completely. We did not need to have the padlock on it (as shown in the picture) because it is plainly obvious to not flip it now and it protects from accidental turning off the switch because it is protected.
