I have 3 of these - in various sizes - they offer great support. I lift my 145 pound mother several times a day and 'walk' with her ... supporting most of her weight. While my arms and groin hurt sometimes my back is protected as long as I use good body mechanics ... bend at the knees ... lift with my legs. I recommend this back support to anyone. If is very effective. I am 63 years old and suggest people of all ages use one .. even in their teens for lifting. We only have one vertebral column and original disks. They must last a lifetime.
