The MSA Advance Caps have MSA's latest combination of advanced features: cooling vents for improved air circulation, lightweight design for added comfort, lateral contours above the ear for easy integration of hearing protection, and Glaregard underbrim to reduce reflective glare. Advance Caps are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side, or rear. Of course they meet ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type 1 Class C.
