OEL's ARC Protection 8 cal Jacket & Bib Kits meet current ASTM F1506 and NFPA 70E standards.  This kit uses an inherent material which needs no special laundering to maintain their ARC Flash Properties. Kit includes ARC Flash Jacket & Bibs, Hard Hat, Arc Flash Faceshield, Balaclava, Safety Glasses and Visor Storage Bag. Also includes Large Arc Flash Duffle Bag.

This kit meets NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category 2.

Inherent material is preferred over treated material because the fabric is woven with protective fibers as opposed being treated only on the outer surface. This makes the material more lightweight and comfortable and most importantly avoids many of the laundering restrictions of the treated materials.
