    • Recycled Gran-sorb™ Loose Cellulose Absorbent soaks up oils, coolants, solvents, water, fuels and antifreeze. This environmentally friendly, universal absorbent is made of 100% recycled post-consumer paper waste and absorbs its own weight in liquid! Spreads easily to absorb and retain spills on contact while providing non-skid traction. Stays in place, even in windy conditions. Non-scouring and non-abrasive to actually extend the life of floors and equipment. Non-toxic and crystalline silica free—a safe alternative to clay. Approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) BioPreferred program, a federal purchasing program for biobased products.

    Regulations and Compliance

  • 49 CFR 173.3(c)(2) - The area between a container and a salvage drum used for overpacking must have "sufficient cushioning and absorption material to prevent excessive movement of the damaged package and to eliminate the presence of any free liquid at the time the salvage drum is closed."
